If your insurance covers your YMCA membership, the process typically involves confirming your eligibility through your insurance provider. Some plans, like Medicare Advantage or certain employer-sponsored programs, offer fitness benefits that include YMCA memberships. To get started:

  1. Contact your insurance provider to verify coverage.
  2. Obtain any necessary documentation or membership ID.
  3. Present this information at the YMCA during registration.
  4. The YMCA will coordinate with your insurance for payment, ensuring you enjoy your membership benefits.
Yes, as a college student, you can enjoy special discounted membership pricing at the YMCA! To qualify, simply present your current student ID at the time of sign-up. This offer makes it easier for students to stay active and connected while managing a busy academic schedule.
Senior couples with Silver Sneakers fitness coverage from their insurance must each have separate accounts due to insurance requirements. To maintain your membership coverage, Silver Sneakers requires a minimum of 10 check-ins per month. This ensures your insurance continues to cover your YMCA membership fees without interruption.
Your Pittsburg Family Y is dedicated to ensuring everyone can access our programs, regardless of their financial situation. Thanks to community support, we provide financial assistance to those who qualify. To apply, complete the Financial Assistance Application and submit it with your most recent 1040 and supporting documentation for review. Applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
We offer flexible payment options, including monthly electronic payments and cash/check payments for a fixed term.

  • Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT): Automatic withdrawals on the 10th each month with no contracts, though a cancellation notice is required.
